House of De Vries is a complex narrative, rich with layers that intertwine throughout the story. However, not everything is as it appears, as the novel compels you to question your perceptions. Yes, there is a considerable amount of sex as Sophia Jenssen, the protagonist, embarks on her quest to uncover the dark secrets within the house. Through the veil of time, Sophia effortlessly journeys into the past, discovering that she is a co-owner of the infamous house—a brothel. Immersing herself fully in this new identity as Sophia De Jung, she quickly begins to forget her true self, weaving her way through the darkness in search of the light. As

the plot unfolds, readers will encounter various characters who attempt to divert Sophia from her intended path. Throughout the novel, the Hooded Man appears to remind Sophia to remain in the light; he embodies her subconscious yet is easily influenced by the charming Lucien De Vries. He quickly seduces her and introduces her to the Lord of the Occult, where anything can happen.

The Lord represents our deepest fears. You might feel strong emotions, even if you don't understand why, and that's okay. It simply means you're healing. As the story unfolds, subtle clues will guide you towards a message meant for you. This message helps you to see the bigger picture – that life is more than what meets the eye. The world is constantly evolving, fuelling a hunger for knowledge and power. But for our planet to truly thrive, we must all embark on a journey of self-discovery, so that in years to come Earth will be a place of peace and harmony.

House of De Vries gives you a glimpse at the world's troubling realities – realities that can be disturbing and that we'd often prefer to ignore. As the author, I admit these were difficult scenes to write. However, I felt compelled to show the darkness, believing that only by facing it can we allow light to overcome it. That's ultimately why I wrote House of De Vries: to deliver this message in a subtle way, using sex as a lure. After all, sex is something we can all relate to, and I suspect many of us have, at some point, confused lust with love.

The prequel will delve deep into both Sophia’s past, exploring the childhood traumas that defined them. Writing about these experiences will be a new and interesting challenge for me, especially since I had a happy childhood with loving parents. However, just like 'House of De Vries,' I will let Sophia guide the story. 'Into the Shadows' is starting to formulate, and it all begins on Sophia's seventh birthday – the day everything changed. There is lots to unravel and to unpack as I weave timelines and delve deep into the unknown discovering many backstories of the colourful characters that come to life in my imagination. In the sequel, ‘Into the Light,’ all will become apparent.

As a healer I work with energies that are not visible to the human eye, but that doesn't mean the spirit world doesn't exist. Far from it, it is very real; it is our true home. Healers, lightworkers, and mediums are simply tuning into another frequency, just like you when you turn your television on and settle down to watch your favourite TV show, knowing that at the same time there are countless other programs beaming through the airwaves. You don’t question that, because you accept it as everyday life. Remember everything is energy. Life is full of many rich tapestries, some good and some bad. We came to learn, we came to explore, and we came to feel deeply the lows and the highs. Life moves us in different ways, but one thing always stays the same: the energy of LOVE. It’s the glue that holds us together, because love is all there ever is.

This can be a hard pill to swallow when the world is in turmoil, so come back to yourself and connect with your heart. Your heart is your true compass and will always guide you if you listen deeply to the beat of your heart.

This brings me back to the House of De Vries, which delves into the internal and external realms of existence, guiding you on a visual journey through time and space. You'll sense the heartbeat within the words; it's intertwined with time, like the tick-tock of a clock... yet our perception of time is merely an illusion, as only the present moment exists. Be present, be still, and reconnect with your true self. Remember, fear and darkness are mere illusions. There is only light; when we realise this, we awaken to the truth of our essence. We are beings of pure light, experiencing life on Earth through our physical bodies.
